Out of Home Media

Out of home media is a 3 billion dollar industry in Australia.

Our definition of out of home media is any media a person is exposed to from the time they leave home to the point of purchase at retail. The design and layout of a retail store, ambiance created, fixtures and fittings to the in-store merchandisers and product displays. In addition to the media a person is exposed to when attending a trade show, event or reaching a destination.

What do we do?

  • We bring businesses together for financial benefit
  • We specialize in mergers and acquisitions
  • We are in negotiations with a number of successful companies, with an EBIT between $1M and $10M providing products and services related to out of home media to become part of the EcoNomics Group www.economicsgroup.com.au  
  • Work with these selected companies to identify other companies that can bring synergies to the businesses acquired in the group
  • Work with these companies to ensure sustainability practices are put in place to ensure all companies in the group meet the needs, demands and requirements of major brands and retailers. This is done through our joint venture company Green for Retail Pty. Ltd www.greenforretail.com.au  
  • Our intention is to float the group of companies (circa $20M EBIT) on the ASX when the financial markets are right in mid-late 2010
  • The aggregation of businesses will provide business owners with immediate cash and an earn out over a period that suits their requirements at a multiple higher than a private sale
  • Continue to work with the group of companies to ensure growth, positioning the company to be the largest provider of out of home media
  • Provide business development through identifying synergies with others
  • Help business owners create extra value in their business through strategic planning
  • Provide knowledge sharing with industry related associations
  • Work with owners and principals of businesses with strong management teams interested in exiting their business in the next 5 years.

Other Initiatives

  • We have developed The Sustainability Cardâ„¢ through wholly owned subsidery company The Sustainability Card Pty. Ltd. which is planned for March 2010 release. The Sustainability Cardâ„¢ is a commercial initiative to build a bridge between business and consumers - to assist in greening the economy and society - by facilitating cash rewards for the purchase of sustainable products and services. www.thesustainabilitycard.com.au
